Smooth Jazz In The Mix 6

We are back with Smooth Jazz In The Mix 6! This one is definitely smoothed out with more of your favorite artists. We start with Brian Culbertson featuring Candy Dulfer. “Another Long Night Out” is a perfect intro because of the way it builds!
I found out that in 2015, a new Peanuts/Charlie Brown animated film will be theatrically released, so I decided to revive the classic “Linus & Lucy” by David Benoit. I am sure the track will bring back fond memories.
We also have the only vocal track with Kem, this generation’s version of Al Jarreau. His music definitely makes you feel good! Richard Elliot appears twice, one from the album Lip Service, and also as a duo with Rick Braun.
Speaking of duos, we have two other “groups” that appear in the mix. We have the duo of Gerald Albright and Norman Brown covering a Ne-Yo song, “Champagne Life,” and Jeff Lorber, Chuck Loeb and Everette Harp come through with “Speed of Light;” a nice smoothed out track.
Two groups that have been around for years with no indication of slowing down are the Rippingtons and Acoustic Alchemy. Speaking of groups, we also have Down To The Bone. Their funk is unparalleled, and they will be appearing often in future editions of the mix.
I have two words for you—Cindy Bradley. If you have not heard her material, you are missing out. Her trumpet sounds so fine!!  I think it’s time to put her up there with my other favorite ladies, Candy Dulfer and Mindi Abair!
Rounding out the mix we have Jackiem Joyner, Tim Bowman, Michael Lington and Boney James!

Enjoy Smooth Jazz In The Mix 6!
